Went down to the Nisqually on a week day and found some room to fish. Spent a lot of my childhood in Alaska and got spoiled having the ability to move up and down a river without asking permission. Caught a decent fish floating eggs and lost a nicein at the bank. Only saw 6 fish caught 3 of which were silvers.

You can move up and down the bank all you want in Washington as well. As I recall, by law anything below the high water mark of a navigable water in Washington is public with a few exceptions (if this has changed please feel free to inform me).

and obviously if a land owner comes to give you trouble it isn't worth it to even argue with them most of the time.

I meant finding a place to squeeze in the boards of people not laws or landowners. Sorry for the confusion. We have very limited opportunity in this state and getting more restrictive.
