Fished the Duamish/Green today for the first time by foot, only the third time ever.Left the house at 6:50 a.m. and got to the hole at 8:20 a.m. Long drive but it seemed to be worth it at first glance as fish were surfacing everywhere I looked. Most of them where upwards of 10lbs, nice fish. Tried everything from eggs under a bobber to jigs, spinners, plugs, dick nites, and drifted eggs. Only had one bite on a blue fox, saw one fish caught all day in which the guy caught a native coho on eggs under a bobber, only about four pounds but he released it after he yanked the hook out of him an the fish had swallowed the eggs down its throat and was hooked there. And yes he released it, and yes the fish did die of blood loss as it was bleeding like a stuck pig.
