Me and my neighbor hit the duwamish this morning at 6 a.m. He had never fished the duwamish , but i have so we sat out with "great expectations". After about an hour of trolling up river and never seeing 1 fish jump we both agreed that we might have set are expectations too high. We went from 12 oz. weights to 2 oz. weight at about 10:30. Around 11:15 we saw the first fish jump , and then we both noticed my pole doing the 2 step. We got are only fish in the boat rather quickly, it was a WHOPPING 3lbr. with 2 very small egg sacks , 2 sea lice and 2 small fillet's . But it beats a blank. Talked too many other boaters and noone seemed to catch a fish ,so we both felt very blessed by the fish gods. Oh yeah 5 ft. flourocarbon leader and a 3.5 maglip in silver and lime green.
