I was pretty hopeful to pull in some fish this morning. After hours and hours of trolling lake washington, days of failed attempts to hook a coho. Launched at Rotary Park. Boat was in the water just after 6am, lines in the water at first light. We pulled plugs, cast and reel #1 dick nite's, floated eggs, tossed some buzz bombs for fun. Not a single bite! I was marking them everywhere, didn't see a single one jump. I did see three seals roaming around rotary park, and as far as 522. I had the same report from the dozen or so fishermen I ran into. I love any day out on the water, I'm pretty happy just playing with gear and fishing. But goddamn, this is getting frustrating. Fishing within these guidelines and poor conditions. I guess it is, what it is. Lake Steven Kokane tomorrow morning to scratch my itch.

Good luck!

Thanks for the report. I've trolled the lower Sno sometimes and mostly seem to see lockjaw fish.. It can be really frustrating. But, sometimes for no apparent reason, they'll bite. Go figure!

I had the same experience today, 10/2/16. I also noticed there was a lot of debris floating in the water column, which made it hard to tell fish from trash on the fish finder. Tried trolling, anchoring with jet divers and casting. Blue foxes, super baits, dick nites, wiggle warts and herring. No bites.
