Fished the Skagit today by foot for the second time today for coho. Tried everything from jigs in deep pools to plugs in shallow fast water. Finally got hit on the brads wiggler in pink and purple. After a nice fight and some aerial flights I got her up on the beach and bonked. Weighed in at 7 lbs even and that was it for the day fished several more hours without a coho bite but did hit a half dozen wild steelhead or cutthroat trout that where about 6-7 inches long. Any insight on if this is normal in the Skagit to catch wild steelhead or cutthroat trout on a brads wiggler or are they just hungry. Anyways as D.J. Butler might say- Tight Lines
