The wife and I took our yearly trip to Twin lakesin the town of Inchelium for a week of relaxing and some fantastic trout fishing. Like Bettys article of 5-9-2005 this is a beautiful lake and holds some very quality Rainbow and Eastern Brook Trout. We caught many Rainbows in the 14-18 inch range trolling with a green muddler minnow tipped with a chunk of worm between 1.5 - 1.8 mph including a beautiful Eastern Brook Trout caught by my wife that was 17 inches and weighed 1-3/4 pounds this fish had a whole 4 inch bass in the stomach when we cleaned it and was still eating they are voracious eaters. The weather here can change fast as this a high mountain lake so when visiting this lake be prepared for all types of weather conitions. Some of the friendliest folks around the old timers up here are always willing to help you out if you need something or just come by to check out your catch. I am not a bass fisherman but we seen many large bass also being caught making this lake a great trip for fishermen seeking the catch of their choice we can't wait till next year to go back for another week.
