I have found the best pond ever thanks to my friend. He knows the owners and they said they don't mind if a few teenage boys fish it. I now love these people because for the past week we have been busting the bass like crazy on top waters and floating rapalas. The reason this pond is exploding into the spawn so soon is that it is only about 7' deep in the deepest part. Also it is full of milfoil and lily pads. The water is very warm which I found out by tipping in the canoe. I myself have caught and released over 30 bass in the past week. All of them above 13" long. My friend Justin has not caught the quantity but the quality bass of 4 pounds. As the season progresses we will bring out some quality hawgs. I encourage you all to get permission form landowners to fish their small ponds as well, the smallest pond may hold the biggest fish. NICK
