I've fished this lake many times over the past two summers and catch an average of 10-15 bass a day. The lake has a large population of largemouth and it also produces good bluegill and catfish fishing. I've caught several bass weighing 2-3.5 lbs they are usualy between 13 and 16 inches long and are very fat and healthy. The lake provides great habitat and cover for bass its full of submerged trees and stumps its covered with lilipads and other weeds. Over hanging trees also provide excellent cover for bass in this lake. I catch my bass on bright colored spinnerbaits and topwater rapala minows. I caught my largest fish on this day using a silver rapala minow. It was calm and the water was clear I hooked it beneath a small dock in about 3 feet of water. The fished weighed about 3.5 lbs and was 16 inches long it put up a great fight! This lake has gotten me into bass fishing and it is now one of my favorite hobies. The lake is private and there are no easy accesses to it.
