Don't kid yourself, use a scale. J/k ! Nice fish, make sure you keep that lake a secret or else its toast.

Hey Dez, I have fished that lake a few times from a canoe a few years ago. It had no formal access area and launching was limited to hand carried craft. It is also very shallow and weedy after early spring. On my 56th birthday, I hooked 56 bass there. Most were small but 3 or 4 of them were 3-4 pounds. All were released. I doubt if a lake that shallow and weedy would ever be toast with its quite limited access.

hey Dez, mostly I fish the lakes here in Kitsap County and Mason County. Fishing for bass this time of year is good everyplace for those with at least a few modest bass angling skills. My first bass of the year was a 5-11 caught on a Rapala and I have nailed several over 3 since. Check out reports on Kitsap Lake, Long Lake and Devereaux Lake. Tight lines
