I've posted this little pond a week or 2 ago, but it was so windy we couldnt fish much. well after the nightmare at grass lake we came here because the wind was calm. we got out there and it was calm. This is a private pond on a farm and i've found out no one else can fish it, so i thought i wouldnt post it but something unusual happened so i thought i would share it. anyway this pond has lots of weeds grass, pads everything you would want for bass. Anyway we are throwing plastic worms like always, steve hits one and reals it in and we are thinking 10 inch dink, well it so happens to be 12-14 inch cutthroat trout! on a 6inch plastic worm? I've hooked big trout on hotshots and the like but never on a 6inch plastic worm. anyway that wasnt the only one we caught. after trying hard for bass i finally gave up and put the only trout lure in my box and caught a couple more, so we came to it that what we thought was gonna be a nice private bass lake happens to have no bass at all just full of 6-14 inch cutthroats. Maybe there is some bigger ones this creek that runs into it is suppose to have huge cutthroats in it. cant remember the creek name, anyway this lake is right by that casino, red wing? it's just before shelton exit, it's the mcleary exit and just pass there and that creek runs there and right into this pond. anyway thought it was a cool outing to share.

I am thinking that from what you say this may be in Mason County and the Casino is called The Little Creek Casino, but not sure of the creek's name.... Maybe it is Little, I don't know! Sounds like a good fishing trip though!
