I just couldn't sleep..I was tossing and turning and was feeling this burn to go fishing. Forecast was calling for rain. I just HAD to go..I woke my son up and loaded up the car...I called in sick. Come on! I hadn't been to this lake in about 5 years. We arrived a little after 8a. I decided to try and fish for smallies while my son fished for the Coho. After about an hour of trying and my son not catching anything, I put on the secret bait and secret set up and tried my luck...I had no idea why my son wasn't catching any. Immediately I felt that gentle little tug. An hour and a half later I had my limit..my son fell short of 1 for his limit..we decided to call it a day..Biggest pushed 16 inches and the rest were 15 to 15.5 inches..A few people were catching them as well, but we had more action than any others....A very good day! These are some delicious fish!
