The baby was hungry at 4am (she makes a great alarm clock), so I made points by feeding her, getting her back to sleep AND was at the lake by 6am. How cool is that? It was overcast and about 60 with a slight breeze when I hit the lake. I fished from 6-10am, just as the clouds were burning off. Caught two on a weightless senko. The one pictured I spied chasing after what I assume were fry under an overhanging tree. There were many schools of these, about 1" in length cruising the shadows. I casted under the tree about 5 times before he hit it. Came in at 3.48#, my PB so far for 2009. The second about 10 minutes later, only about 10" long. Didn't notice the big scar on him until after I looked at the pic. Sorry about the pic quality, getting use to self portraits with a new camera.
