Well figured it has been warm enough lately to go target some largemouth so away to my diamond in the rough big bass lake is what I like to refer to it as. Since I sank some Christmas tress for a fish magnet later in the year a beaver has moved in dammed the spill way and the water level is the highest I ever seen it which means now the bass are all up in the willows and stuff so now you need to put the bait in a tighter spot but also found out they are still on the edges also. Four cast reeled in a two pounder, couple cast more a five pounder, the whole time I fished was maybe three hours covered only a quarter of the lake so no telling how many more I would have caught, had several on for a second or two then off, had some vicious hits, only say big boil afterwards where bait was coming towards me. Then cought another five maybe six pounder in the nastiest stuff figured out oh heck just cast in there any way to just see if there is one in there sure enough bringing it right through the junk and of course one of my older christmas trees underneath is holding most debris around it in a circle like and man two cranks on the reel another five pounder surprise. But this lake just keeps on impressing me every time I go it is something new. Only used my frog bait usually switch up but since they were on the frog did not change up. So nothing else to say except I 'll be back this weekend, this time I think I'll make it all the way around so I figure I'll have about a twenty five or so caught fish day with the average being 5 pounders hope to land one or two of the seven or eight pounders I know that are in there just be patient. Plus noticed little fish are getting scarce so might have to yank a couple of big ones to keep there numbers down. So tight lines fellow fishing people, and pack out what you pack in don't leave it up to me to pick up your trash, u r welcome!
