Funky fish! That looks like some of the Bass I catch in my nightmares!

Somebody ripped some lips!

I have caught a couple smallmouth that looked like that. Not sure what it is but it sure looks funky!

Like I've mentioned before, I've had boats follow me around the lake to see where I fish, maybe this fish followed me years ago and ran into my prop. Hmmm

That's just a Bass that has had some unfortunate hookups before you. Probably some ninny who didn't know how to take a hook out properly caused all that damage to his face. Lol. Nice fish though!

I was thinking maybe it got bit by an otter, or bird, or even a turtle when it was a baby. Maybe I should have gotten a couple other pictures from the front, and above. Oh well, I can't think of everything. :-) Also the hook came out right below the right eye, it's very fortunate it didn't come out thru the eye. But he can still see and still eat. I'll keep an eye out for him on down the road.

AMX, kinda like the pot calling the kettle black. I was never going to bring this up because you seem like a good dude, but I know your boat and had you roll up on me once at Samm, idle down till you were 50 yards away then take off. I actually thought you were coming over to say hi, but when u took off I was pretty sure of what you were up to. If I'm wrong sorry for the accusation, but I don't think I am.

If you are talking about the Phoenix this past Jan. or Feb. , then I was breaking in the motor. One of the best things to do while breaking in a motor is to put pressure on the rings to get them to seat the best. The best 2 ways to do that is a full throttle run, and a hole shot. If it was with the Ranger, then I don't know. And no I've never followed another boat/person around to see where they fish. Also sometimes a boat can 'hide' on the lake as it can blend in with the color of the background, like a boat tied to a dock, a house, in the shadow of the trees, anything like that. Or a person might be looking at the depth finder, look up and there is a boat where that person was going to go to. So if that happened, then nothing was intended. And no I have no idea who you are. If we've met before I don't remember a name, or a boat.
