Ran up to this lake today regardless of the downpour and colder temps. It's always good to get some casting practice in and get the ever aging back and shoulders limbered up and back in the swing of things.

Covered a lot of water with nothing to show for it. Six others were out trying as well, didn't get a chance to speak to any of them so not sure how they did. I called it before noon but couldn't let it go so I rolled over to a nearby lake and gave it a couple more hours with the same results. Getting a little warmth over the next couple days should help but as far as I'm concerned once we get past Monday it should pretty much be game on!

Water temps were universally 44.5 degrees on lake one and exactly one degree warmer on lake two.
