Defeats the purpose of 'secret', which for the record I wish was just 'anonymous' but jm2c, however NO it was not Grandy. I don't like to hit that lake until later in April on a normal year but this year I may wait until May?

Conditions reports still provide potentially valuable information to those that couldn't make it out on a given day. That's why I always try to include water temps, clarity, weather conditions and unsuccessful and successful techniques as most lakes are experiencing similar situations it may key someone on to something that works or steer them away from something that didn't and maybe they will apply the findings to the lake they choose to go fish? Feel free to not read 'secret' lake reports if they bother you. I'm just trying to share information with the option of being able to find a parking spot if I choose to return to that specific lake the following week and believe it or not, that's an issue. Throw in what Amx said with the exception that I don't challenge anyone that "legally" harvests ANY species of fish, however, poachers are going to poach regardless of what anyone says.

The purpose of secret locations is as 8theB8 noted plus to allow people that want to share their successes without giving away a spot. If it bothers anyone then don't read those reports. I for one enjoy secret reports as much as other ones and there is always bits of information that one can learn from.

Mike, you've always been a stand up guy and have really created an amazing tool for anglers with this site. I appreciate the amount of effort that has gone into this site and hope you are reaping the benefits!
