So I went to my spot AGAIN!

This time I was armed with my new rod and sturgeon fishing knowledge....... things started out slowly, but then after about an hour I got a nice bite so I set the hook and ended up catching a 3 pound sucker fish. I figured o well a fish is a fish! My friend Melila was with me, as well as several others. He was just using my 6ft Pflueger trout rod (actually a very nice rod), and it had 4 pound test hahaha. Shortly after my catch he gets a hard bite and sets the hook on his fish........ we quickly realized he was gonna have to play it perfectly to land it and not snap the line. So with all 5 of us cheering him on, he was able to land a 34 inch 12 pound sturgeon (obviously had to be released) after around 8 minutes. Pretty impressive for a 4 pound test!

Also, was using pickled herring, and worms. Photos are on my phone and idk how to get them to the computer.
