Well today I went to the spot where fishermanmax had done his shad fishing, but i did not have the same success. The main problem was that I do not know how to fish for shad, but also it was very crowded and there weren't many fish being caught overall ( a few people had several).

Then I left and went to my old faithful, wintler park. The water was amazingly high, it covered the whole beach. I tried for sturgeon for about an hour, then went to the main swim area and asked some russians what they were doing and they had about 5 squaws in a bucket and were drifting worms on the bottom. So I decided that sqauwfish is better than no fish, and got out my trout rod and ended up catching about a 11" peamouth, and my friend Cameron caught a squaw about 7" or 8". The russians claimed these fish make good eating, which doesn't surprise me that they would think that, but I do not want to try these fish. I gave the fish we caught to a nice older man and he was grateful so they weren't wasted.

next week I'm probably gonna do the pikeminnow bounty and pick up some $
