1/21/2009 2:34:00 PMA friend took me out of Keller last week on a day when the air pressure was dropping and it tried to snow a bit. We caught a few fish, one a bruiser of an 18" rainbow, near 4 lbs., and all the action was over by 11:00 A. M.
The next day he caught ten fish, fishing alone, on rising pressure, a couple being as big as the bruiser I caught the day before. Most good rainbows and kokanees are caught down stream from Keller in the winter and in the spring and they are more spread out in the summer and fall.
When it warms up a little the walleye fishing should pick up between Kettle Falls and Hawk Creek. Hope that's some help.
