Went out to Roosevelt for the weekend and rented a house with the Family. Got out first thing Saturday Morning and the whole goal was to get my 3 yr old son to catch a fish. After about 3 hours of nothing but playing in the sand his Spiderman pole fell over. We thought it was just the wind. When my wife picked it up she said there was a fish on. My son went sprinting in all his snow garb over to the pole and reeled in his first fish ever!!! You couldn't wipe the smile off his face for days. As he called it his Trout Fish went about 15-16 inches and about 2lbs. What a great day! I ended up catching 3 more of my own after he went back for lunch and to watch his dinosaur TV shows so that is what the pic is of! No dinks and no real giants I would guess the biggest close to 3lbs. We will be back in a month or so to try again.

Details: Fished from 7 Bays with lots of different bait combos from shore. The only one that seemed to catch anything was marshmallow and red egg.
