actually started fishing on sat may 31 around 930 am. i was fishing the toilet hole (by fort Spokane casino). fished for about 4 hours. not a bite. water temp was around 53 degrees. lake still pretty low. no bites went and had lunch took a nap and went back out around 600 pm. fished till the wind blew me off about 1000pm. 3 walleye and 1 missed bite. using bottom walkers and primarily red spinners with whole crawler. went up Spokane Sunday morning. late start. arrived at buoy 5 around 800am. lots!!!! of current. fished a big eddy with about 20 other boats for a couple of hours. saw about 10 walleye caught. none very big. started drifting with the current running a bouncer with various colored spinners. caught 1 walleye (while making breakfast). current all the way to porcupine bay. I normally do pretty good opening week( nothing big just lots of eaters). I think the cold fast water is definitely a factor. water kind of murky in the Spokane also. going to try again this next weekend i think. saw a few folks filleting some nice catches. one old fellow told me it took him all day Saturday to catch a limit of fillets. he was fishing mouth of Spokane and fishing drop shot very slowly. not hardly moving boat at all. lack of wind Saturday helped.

I have lived 5 mins from the Casino and have never heard of the area referred to as the "toilet hole".
Thanks for the report, I will be over that way this weekend.

the toilet hole is (as ive been told) the big long beach area on the main lake just upstream of the mouth of the spokane( it ends by split rock). good luck fishing!
