Dale
11/14/2007 6:09:00 PM29 - 33 ft deep downriver. 50 feet deep north of the bridge off the current. Some people were catching then in 70-80 feet. But I prefer not to fish so deep because the fish seem to be smaller and usually die.

Fished out of Kettle, by the bridge and down river. Caught 7 Walleye and missed a bunch. Boy, they sure were a challenge today, no hard bites. Finally settled on Firetiger as the color of the day, with a crawler off the bottom. Weather was great to be on the water. Fishing is a sport though and some etiquette should be displayed. With this in mind, it is not acceptable to come 700 yards across the channel and come within 20 feet of my buoy that I placed and am trolling to. It is not polite to cut off my path to said buoy when I am 50 feet from it (and we are the only 2 boats within eye sight) or to troll next to me and then cut in front of me. I told you what I was using, I can't catch them for you also. This behavior may be acceptable in California, but it is not here in our great state.
