Fished from Seven Bays on Wed, Thru and Fri. Took the boat up from Spokane on Wed. and fished the afternoon with fair results (4 fish w/good size). Left the boat in the water at Seven Bays Marina and returned Thursday for a full day of fishing. Caught 10 fish, all nice size. Fished with apex lures in orange, purple and watermellon colors(1.5 - 2.0 mph). Also fished with rip-n-minnow plugs in both small size(65's) #19 and large size(80's) #59. Trolled faster with the plugs, around 3.5 - 5.0 mph. Friday was another full day of fishing and limits of 1.5 - 3 lb fish. Used the same gear and fished the same area both days. Most of our time was spent in the Hawk Creek area, but we did check out both the Goat Farm and Whiterock. All in all the 3 days were great fishing and nice (in the mid 50's). As the water temp goes down the fish will come to the top so within the next couple of weeks the fishing should really pick up.Good luck.
