On September 4th a co-worker of mine joined me for a night fishing
trip to the Hawk Creek inlet on Lake Roosevelt for Walleye. Unfortunately the
walleye bite was off. However the Rainbows were very aggressive and quite
large. Within an hour we had two five pounders, one six and My personal
favorite an eight and a half pound brute. It was awesome. They were hitting
nightcrawlers on glo hooks and small rapalas. I hope the bite is on next
week because I'm going back for more.
Good fishing to all
