Have been on Roosevelt for 2 days now blasting off from Keller Ferry and working one or two miles in either direction of the marina. Rock walls are producing but mostly dinks. Changed from grubs dropped along the rock to a deep diving crank bait in a deep orange/red color and started catching a little bigger fish. Using a fast retrieve and getting the lure down deeper than 10' seemed to scare up a lot more interest and we started seeing more fish in the 1 pound or more range.

Worked the rock field to the south of Keller Ferry in the evenings until after sunset. Used various lures but finally switched to a shallow diving 5" minnow and started slamin' em. Almost every cast and most all over 1 pound with an occasional larger one thrown in.

Had my first case of "boat ramp rage" today as my wife had backed our trailer into the water and I was coming around the dock to line up and a horses ass in a pontoon boat drove right in front of me and up to the dock blocking my trailer! I shouted HEY, don't you see my trailer there! He said he wanted to unload his wife and dogs! I couldn't believe the nerve of this a&&hole! I wanted to kill him! Called him every name in the book before he backed away. Really that has to be the height of stupidity and rudeness to pull up to a dock when you can clearly see a guys trailer waiting there for him!!!!!
