The Stennes' had a group out on Saturday. My report is tardy due to the Sportsman's Show in Spokane. They had 13 Steelhead on, 9 to the boat and 4 were hatchery fish that could be kept. They caught equal numbers near Pateros and up by Bridgeport. They fished quarter ounce Rock Dancer jigs under bobbers. The jigs were baited with purple shrimp. The hookup of these shrimp is critical. You must get the hook barely through the meat of the shrimp so the hook point is barely exposed. Do not spend too much time on any one hole or run. You must run and gun to be consistently successful. You will set the jig anywhere from 4 to 17 feet below the bobber. Most times, 6 to 9 feet is best. Tight Lines Anton Jones 509-961-5342
