Got to fish for chinook outside the entrance of the White River with Aaron, Ryan, and Steve Leonard of Steve's Guided Adventures. Perfect conditions, a bit of a breeze which settled down in short order. Ryan immediately started us off with two chinook, one jack and one around 16 lb king. These were caught at crack o dawn off the bottom on eggs and shrimp. Aaron was next up with a nice 6 lber on eggs. My fish came a little after that, about a 5 lb, fiesty king that was all over the place. Steve caught the last one of the day, again on eggs. We fished from dyabreak to about 11:30am. Water depth we focused on was 25-35 feet deep, two ounce lead balls, 36 inch leader, about two cranks off the bottom. Nice to be on the water and catching fish!
