11/28/2010 10:29:00 PMAll but one fish were on the downriggers, that one being on a jointed rapala long-lined. The depths we set were 7 ft. and 12 ft., both of the bigger fish were on the 12 ft. downrigger. Don't have any clue if that was because of depth or just the way it was. The ramp at Seven Bays wasn't bad at all, it's a pretty gradual slope and by the time we returned to the launch they had it plowed.

11/29/2010 6:42:00 AMIf you head down to the Lincoln boat launch there is a left you take before you head down the last hill to the launch. Can't remember the road name or even if it has one. that road takes you down to the river and then skirts along the river back to a bay with net pens in it. All around that bay is good bank fishing, use either a worm and marshmallow about 18" off the bottom with an egg sinker or sometimes we've used a slip bobber set 10' down with just a worm. I've also seen people bank fishing under the bridge at Fort Spokane on the park side.

11/29/2010 6:59:00 AMPower bait on a 3-5Ft . of leader with an egg sinker. The reason for the egg sinker is to allow the fish to take your bait without feeling the tension of your rod. So you are actually fishing a slack line. As soon as you see the slack change, reel down and set hook! And what I mean by change does not only mean getting tight. Sometimes your line will come to you! Good luck!

11/30/2010 6:26:00 AMThere were a few ducks DannyHoey. By the way Russ, that road that you turn left on is called W Mill Rd. I google earthed it, you can see how it skirts down to that bay with the fish pens.
