Our guy, Jerrod Riggan of Big River Steelhead had a great day on Wednesday. He had John and Chris Hedges from Wenatchee out. They had 20 steelhead to the net with 6 more lost on the way. He had them fish with shrimp baited jigs under bobbers. There were 4 hatchery keepers with the remainder being natives that were released. The bucks are really coloring up. It started slow, but the bite really kicked in by 9AM. The day ended up with a gorgeous 12 pound hen that ran them all over the place and forced them to trim the kicker out of the water.

This is a great time of the year for Upper Columbia Steelhead, Lake Chelan Mackinaw and Rufus Triploids.
