Our Steelhead guide, Jerrod Riggan had a great day in the Brewster area. The bite held off until 9AM and then it lit up. He ended with 14 to the boat. The average fish size was a robust 9 pounds. They kept 4 hatchery fish including a bright 10 pound hen that threatened to spool them. The Gebbers of Brewster had a great day. Thank you!

He hit a variety of runs and seams around Brewster. The best success was with red headed maribou jigs baited with pink coon-tailed shrimp. They set their slip bobbers from 3 to 25 feet depending on the depth of the run they were working. It was beautiful out with temps above freezing, a fresh 2" layer of new snow and a heated enclosure to keep the fingers, toes and noses comfortable.
