Third day of our 3 day trip. Colder today than it was the two prior days, with single digits at launch time. After some nifty tricks to thaw out the outboard's pee tube, we got going on some reasonable water...winds were quite tolerable. We started out walleye fishing, hitting the deep drops, from 120 feet up to 60 feet, without a bite. We put away the wallace gear and got out the downriggers and planers. We ended up with 6 total fish for 3 guys. Three of those were kokanee. All fish were caught on bait today, dodgers and apexes with corn. The fish didn't want rapalas or flies or worms. Winds were light and variable, ambient temps in the single digits, mostly sunny. Water temps about 42.
