Andy wanted to show Jeff some runs and seams below Wells Dam so they fished from 7AM to 1PM. They varied the jig depth from 6 to 15 feet under Thill Big Fish Slider bobbers. The 1/8th oz. Calypso colored Maxi Jig by Worden Lures/ Yakima Bait Company was the ticket. They baited the jigs with chunks of shrimp cured in Red Pautzke Fire Cure. Remember to vary your depth as the current flow and river level changes. It can make all the difference. They got 7 fish. Three were hatchery Steelhead, 2 were triploids and 2 were wild Steelhead.
