That is a nice mess of fresh water ling cod right there! I have been told that all the launches on Rosevelt are now out of the water due to dam maintenance. How is the boat ramp and where did you launch or were you bank fishing? Man, I gotta go!

launched 7 bays don t know how much ramp is left water looked like hersey milk. hunters and spring canyon have the longest launches. even when 7 bays launch is out of the water you can still launch on sand. their is a lot of rock and sand their and you don t have to worry about getting stuck. parking lot was full on sunday.

There are 4 launches that are still usable, Spring Canyon, Seven Bays, Keller Ferry, and Hunters Camp. Launches are listed here under "Minimum boat launch elevations" - http://www.nps.gov/laro/planyourvisit/boating.htm. You can also find the current lake elevation on the same page. Yesterday's level was 1243.5', and Porcupine Bay is usable to 1243', so I imagine it closed today.

huntingjj - What a nice mess of burbot! I wanted to try for some last weekend, but the water was way too rough to even think about it. Will have to try when we're up there next weekend. :-)
