Roosevelt is impossible. We got to Spring Canyon at 6 a.m, with intentions of heading towards Keller to slay some walleye. Got everything ready, and headed down the ramp. The bottom leg of the ramp is barricaded off. About 6" of concrete is under water, and you can see the end of it. About 15' beyond that, you can see the bottom drop into the abyss. There were no closure signs, no warning, no postings on the web, etc. And we had already paid our launch fee! Shame on us I suppose, but since you can't see the barricades from the launch fee registration site.......Lake level was 1220. Most web sites say Spring Canyon is good to launch until 1222, and it is the lowest on the lake. Which means no one can launch a boat. The USBR indicates a forecast of 1217 within the next week, so who knows. I wonder if you can "launch at your own risk". I've checked web sites for NOAA, USBR, USGS, and National Park Service. Anybody have any word on this?
