Mel and myself made it back to Wells Dam for one more go at the Salmon this year. We fished cutplug baits in hot tamale and mountain dew,herring and superbaits in hot tamale and lava. We ended up missing 7 fish since it is single barbless hooks down there right now but did end up catching 6 fish with the biggest being Mels 29lb her biggest of the year. I'm getting use to being out Salmon fished by my wife LOL. We seen alot of fish caught over the few days we were there. We caught most of our fish on Sunday and Monday before being blown off on Monday evening and Tuesday. We caught 2-12lb fish, 1-13lb, 1-19lb, 1-29lb, and 1-6lb fish. Not a bad weekend of fishing in a area that was suppose to be dead right now. Meat on her 29lb fish was still in really good shape. Good fishing everyone.....
