We took a businessman's holiday and went up to Rufus. The surface water temperature was 59 early and warmed into the low 60's. We tried trolling without success. We then anchored around areas where fish were working the surface. Brian threw a black wooly bugger on an intermediate fly line. Jeff and I dunked dough baits. The bite came and went in fits and starts. As the days weather improved, so did the bite. Check out the picture of Brian with the brightest of fish. No spots, yet clearly a triploid. A very nice day on the water to go with the fish on the grill in the evening.
