Fished Spring Canyon Saturday Morning great weather good water But fishing was slow put in around 7:30 headed straight across from launch and headed up river with 4 rods out Planner boards and plugs trolling around 2.1 mph jointed perch j11 tipped with worms and floating orange/gold f11 tipped with maggots we got 2 fish within a half hour both came on the perch worm set up both good size and then nothing more for a good 2 hours i thought out the tackle box no bites to be had so we headed up river a mile or so to the cow ranch where we tryed about the same stuff caught 2 more around 11:30 both on orange and gold one jointed j9 and f11 both with maggots so its sad to say the hit and miss reports are true so we head home about 12:30 wind picked up big waves and burrrr it got cold about 10 trailers at the launch so most people were still out must have been slow for all this is normally a limit early and be gone by noon place but still had a great time with my friends and family on the boat..
