Tough day on the Spokane Arm. Launched from Porcupine and worked our way up to buoy 5. The only bite we had was my buddy Glenn had a dink on using a blade bait for a few seconds just above buoy 5. We worked our way back to Porcupine with out another bite. Headed down river to McCoys where Glenn caught three dinks on a blade. We had launched at 0700 and the first boated fish was at 1230. Moved a little further down river and Glenn caught 2 more dinks near a campground. Moved even further down river near the second island upriver from Ft Spokane. We met another buddy named Jay. He said he caught about 12-15 dinks before we got there, but nothing of any size. I finally caught my first fish of the day at 1440, another dink. Nothing else at this island so we moved to the first island up river from Ft Spokane. I caught 2 more dinks on a jig. It was about 1700 when we called it a day. All fish were caught in 30-35' of water. Water temp was right at 40 and the water was very stained from runoff. Everybody we talked to had similar if not worse results. Nothing worth taking a picture of.
