A friend and I went out and spent a day on Roosevelt and as always it was fun. We launched out of Porcupine Bay and fished up into the arm most of the day. We spent time at all depths from 15-75 foot of water. Techniques included a combination of jigging and bottom bouncing. We caught 4 walleye from 11-16 inches and 1 smallmouth bass that went about a pound and a half. All the walleye were caught in depths of 65-75 foot of water. It took us quite awhile to locate the fish and figure out they were that deep but once we found them, we found them. Hopefully this report will save somebody a bit of trial and error and get them locked in on the fish a little sooner. Good luck out there.
