Wildcat lake is one of my favorite lakes in kitsap Co. to fish, I use a Shimano stimula 10'6" ulta light rod with a shakespear Axiom using 4 lb line, and a 12 inch to 7 foot leader depending on temp and conditions. this day I was fishing with a friend, unfortunately he was completely stumped, I filled most of a limit in about two hours, my smallest trout was twelve inches and weighed aprox one pound, my largest of the four was almost twenty two inches and was just a hair over three and a half pounds, I wont tell my exact spot but I will tell you all I fish the park areas often, the fish here are usually pretty fat and I have had the best luck with rainbow powerbait with glitter. The fish here also when coaxed to bite fight very well, with such a long light action rod it is one heck of a sight to see anything over ten inches that has been hooked, see you all in 03 good luck and safe trips to all...
