We fished the weekend pretty strong and came out with a decent catch of Walleye and Burbot. Mainly walking the bottom with a worm harness in the 50ft range over gravel and sand beds worked well for us both days, they seemed to favor the gold over green blades.
Burbot fishing was done by shore at camp with smelt/nightcrawler combo. It proved to be slow fishing, i think due to our lack of depth20-35ft and steep bottom but we managed 5 or 6, the largest measuring 27" For a lake and species I rarely target my friend and I caught a handful of both species thus making the trip a success.

We camped the western shore, 3miles north of Porcupine launch at a site equipped with mooring docks and even bathrooms. I would recommend this spot as there are many sites to choose from. During the evening ours we set up 4 poles at the shore and placed them in rod holders on the boat with indicators attached which could be seen from camp with a light.
I live in North Idaho so if anyone is interested in fishing these waters keep posted and g'luck to ya
