Took Friday off and went to the Arm to find some eyes. Launched out of Porcupine at 6 am and headed upriver towards buoy 5. It was slow going due to thick fog, good thing I know the river well because I don't have a GPS fish finder and the fog was as thick as pea soup. Anyway I started out just upriver of the buoy dragging jigs in 10-30 ft of water with no luck. Tried moving deeper right on the current seam and started picking up 16-17 inchers. They were holding tight to the deep channel in 50+ ft of water. Boated about 9 before the fog lifted and I could safely head upriver. I started trolling rapalas and boated 4 more eyes with the largest at 22 in. Further upriver I hooked into a 3-4 lb brown trout, not what I was expecting but a good fight none-the-less. Released the cold water carp and tried trolling a worm harness down stream with the current. This produced another five eyes and then after a quick stop in the buoy 5 hole I called it a day.
