Another fun day on the water! Fishing with guide "Walleye Willie" (http://walleyewillie.com/, 541-993-7335) off the mouth of the Deschuetes River on the Columbia. We used standard hover techniques with eggs dirfted just off the bottom. The wind today was strong to start and wicked to end. We pretty much got blown off the water when we could no longer feel our rod tips from the constant wind gusts.

Walleye Willie did a great job keeping our bot "in the zone" and we managed to catch three nice fall chinook salmon, and lost two. That was pretty darn good considering the windy conditions we had to deal with. Fished from 7am to noon.
