The gate at White Bluffs was open so I am going fishing. Took uncle Ed and dad for a day of backtrolling divers and eggs. Started off pretty slow, lots of water being dumped from Priest Rapids dam. Did not get our first fish until around 10:00 A.M., started at 7:00. Fished until around 3:30 and ended up landing 10 Kings, 6 adults and 4 jacks. Released 5 and kept 5, biggest around 15 lbs.

Due to missing out on the majority of the run, the fish had turned dark and that is the reason for release. My uncle had a cow everytime I said that fish should be released due to being dark. Government shutdown messed this run up for me, would have done much better if we could have gone 5-7 days ago. Still had fun and love poking the bear, Uncle Ed. He had a pretty large king on, guessing around 20lbs, that ran all over the place. I told him he was snagged and to stop wasting my fishing time. He called me a bad name and said it is a fish! Fish shook his head and came unbuttoned. Told him I was glad he finally shook the rock off and more namecalling! Some people are so sensitive.

Still a great time on the water, glad to put uncle and dad on some fish, and swimming rocks!
