Report is for three days fishing 6th trough the 8th. Cold and clear with no wind water temp 42 degrees snow on the way home on day two. Fishing from lower pens to the upper pens best fishing was found at the upper pens, started day one at Timm ranch at the lower pens with two boats at the lower pens nothing for them or us in two hours. We decided to head to the upper pens but with an open boat we decided to put the boat on the trailer and drive to the upper launch between the two pens. fishing our way to the upper pens . casting 1/8 oz marabou jigs in black green and purple caught fish on all three colors.. Me and my partner limited each day with fish from four to ten pounds with smaller fish released using barbless hooks. All I can say it is a treasure of a fishery and one of my all time favorite places and can be quite frustrating at times. but when it is like the last three days it brings you back time after time .Already looking forward to my next time on the river
