This report is for the 20th and 22nd. Each day my wife and I got to Ft Spokane about 10:30 and we fish until 3:30, Monday was a very cold day, never got above 24 degrees all day and the fishing was a little slower then it had been the week before. As always the wife got the first fish while I was building the fire. It was a dandy 22" then I settled in and caught 3 and missed several more. Her next fish was just as we were getting ready to leave. Every thing seemed to be in the 15"-18" range. Five fish and a lot of fun for the day not to bad. Wednesday started out the same as every other trip, she caught the first fish then I got three on the bank, then she finished up her limit by 2:00 and was razing me pretty good because I was having trouble hooking them. By 3:30 I managed to finish off my limit so we headed for town. If the picture uploads it is the fish that we caught both days getting ready for the smoker. On another subject to the guys in boats, most folks are great but there always has to be a few with no respect for rules. There is a clearly posted NO WAKE ZONE from below the bridge to a ways upriver of the boat launch. When you cause a wake in this area you are splashing water on the bank fisherman and there gear. These are not first time boaters, about all the boats fishing this area are all high dollar boats. I'm just saying a little respect for other people can go a long ways.

Great to see production from the bank! How long of a leader are you fishing?
Thanks Andy

Even us boaters have that problem with others who don't obey the "No Wake Zone" speed. Other than getting the registration number from the boat and reporting them, there really isn't anything one can do about it. It's not like Park Rangers are there watching, I rarely ever see one.

I am a boater too and some people have gone by me when I was fishing in the "NO WAKE ZONE" and left a wake big enough to tip over a small boat. This is very disrespectful of the rules that were designed to protect the marina, banks and other boaters/fishermen. All I can say is SLOW DOWN; five minutes won't make or break the day. Mutual respect for each other goes a long way. Many thanks to the majority who do respect other boats and fishermen. - Alan
PS Nice catch hewesbob; it's always good to let our wives catch the first fish!!

Hey, I thought all wives caught the first fish and/or the biggest. Seems to always happen that way on our boat anyway. Indeed, hewesbob, nice report and great looking 'bows.

I really like it when they trash a whole dock full of tied-up and moored boats with their wakes. It is so bad.
