My good friend from Tennessee who fished Roosevelt with me last year and got hooked on the great trout fishing as well as the potential for landing trophy kokes brought his daughter over for a weekend fishing trip. After a great breakfast and good conversation with other fisherman at Corner Cafe in Creston we were on the water by 8 am and fish on by 8:15, trout, another trout, another and all day trout. Although we were targeting kokanee with kekedata pink flies we just couldn't find one but the trout slammed them kekedata flies. I ran them with a spinner set up, red and pink beads using a smile blade for slow trolling. We releasing a few wild trout we caught so they can pass they're genes on (they're getting close to spring spawning period) it was no problem filling 4 limits of sterile/triploid trout. I really think the pink kekedata's got potential so gonna try it again tomorrow. I got a report from another angler the orange ones are hot too. I plan on ordering some.
