Took two ole Buddies fishing today and we did well. Launched at Keller and started fishing at the white pipes at 7:45. Trolled all the way to Swawilla and had 4 Bows by 11. Once we got to the north shore in shallower water the bite started. Surface orange Rapalas one stick and one broken back were nailing the bows on top 200' back. Had my pink hootchies on the down riggers and worked all depths from 8 to 35'. Needed one more bow for our 15 fish limit and a Kok nails the stick Rapala on top. Ten minutes later we had a 10" Kok off the broken back and a 3lb 13ozer 22" Kok on a hootchie at 20'. I'm trying to put pic's up but seem to have problems with that. We were done at 2:45 with 15 bows and 3 Kok's. Water was flat and glass, 42 when we started and 44 when we quit.

Good to hear you got the kokes and a big one to boot! Some times that bay in front of the white pipes can be a kok producer but sounds like you were farther down river. Also good to hear the trout are still around, looks like with the draw down they'll be flushed.

Yes I was in Swawilla north shore in front of the houses in 38 ' of water. The white pipes are better once the kok's go deeper. That deep hole is a back eddy and collects the feed there.
