Well after a long nine days of rifle deer season we decided to take a little trip to Wells Dam for a little more Salmon fishing before the late Palouse hunt starts. Fishing was great and hardly anyone there. We ended up catching over 25 fish in three days with the biggest being 20lbs. We lost probably at least as many. The fish are definitely smoker fish but if you enjoy catching salmon then there is still time to catch some. We trolled super baits and flashers....If anyone is interested in a trip down there let me know...Good fishing everyone...
