We did a some steelhead fishing around pateros and the mouth of the Methow river this past weekend. We mostly threw floats with ybc maxi jigs in 1/16 oz pink and purple, black and red and we tipped these with a coon shrimp tail colored pink and soaked in graybills guide scent the new krill and sand shrimp and steelhead scent. We fished hard on Saturday and hooked 7 fish and put only 2 to the boat 1 was a nice little keeper buck about 7lbs and the other was a gorgeous 12lb hen we had to release. The next day we pulled plugs around all day. 3.5 maglips in doctor death and punch card were the colors of choice. We hooked 3 fish and landed 1 nice keeper. Overall it was a nice couple days of fishing. Comparing this to normal years as the water cools off and the salmon go away over the next week or two and with the number of steelhead in the system November is going to be very good!!

Premier guided fishing for Salmon, Steelhead & Trout on the Upper Columbia River. Ranging from Bonneville Dam to Grand Coulee Dam. And also, small tributaries including Drano Lake, Icicle River, Methow River, Okanogan River & Lake Chelan.
